Explorer Tours offers premium, diverse tours for small groups of less than 14 guests. We are a client-driven, client-focused company looking to provide only exceptional services from exceptional guides. A typical tour may last anywhere from 4 hours to 9 hours. Our tours operate around the year, with our highest tourism volume being from April to November. We are always on the lookout for highly-qualified candidates to fill hourly, part-time, and on-call tour guide positions. Our tour leaders are talented, mature, knowledgeable, responsible, enthusiastic, confident and extremely personable. They’re nothing less than exceptional. Does this sound like you? You’ll also need to have a fantastic sense of humor, be an efficient and effective communicator, keep an open-mind, radiate an approachable attitude, and be able to utilize problem-solving skills under stress. We are looking for natural leaders who can use assessment skills, listening skills, direct knowledge, and intuition to act in any given circumstance. If intense and pressure scenarios intimidate you, then this isn’t the job for you. You must be reliable. You must be a team player. You must be both flexible to instruction and an independent thinker. Ideal candidates will have first-hand knowledge of Colorado and a deep-seeded love of the outdoors.

Applicants will find our pay structure very competitive. Of course, pay grades are based on experience. Pay is an hourly rate. Bonuses are available. Corporate and customer gratitude are also available for tour leaders. We offer educational training and on-the- job training.
