This amazing option allows you to get the most out the surrounding areas on the outskirts of the downtown area. Explore the amazing sights around the Rocky Mountains and its foothills by checking out the locations listed below. The downtown area certainly has its charms, but remember that there are plenty of other great places to take memorable pictures and create lasting memories.

Stop 1. Red Rocks Amphitheater

Visitors to the Red Rocks Amphitheater can anticipate the caliber of any performance held at this venue just by taking in the entire scenery at a glance. This is unique among open-air amphitheaters around the world on account of the stunning architecture fused into the enormous tilted rocks that are part of the Denver Mountain Parks. These are the famous red rocks of Denver, and the first shows were held in 1941. The impressive vertical rocks behind the stage are situated at a steep angle, which creates a singular ambiance that is hard to describe.

Stop 2. Evergreen Lake

Nature lovers can always gain access to a pristine and breathtaking encounter with nature when going on a tour of Evergreen Lake. It offers stunning views that sooth the senses and invigorate the body with fresh air. There is plenty of fish in this lake, which is maintained by the local governmental bodies.

Stop 3 Lookout Mountain Overlook

The Overlook Garden is part of Lookout Mountain, and this territory summons up the iconic vistas of the Wild West. There are incredible views of the grave site of the infamous Buffalo Bill, and visitors can always discover something new about this region by visiting. Take a photograph next to the final resting place of Buffalo Bill. It is said that Buffalo Bill’s final wish was to have his remains buried at Lookout Mountain, and this is where the museum gets its theme.

Drive the Lariat Loop, through Downtown Golden and by the Coors Brewery Nestled in the foothills of Lookout Mountain is a veritable wonderland of activities that are accessible via the Lariat Loop. This stretch of road is 40 miles long, and it takes 1 hour to completely drive the loop without stopping. There is something for everyone. The downtown Golden area is quaint and charming. One of the magnets in this area is the Coors Brewery. This is a unique facility that is reportedly the largest brewery on a single location anywhere in the world.
